I only played The Wolf Among Us and the Game of Thrones Telltale game.
So as much as they tormented you, there's a chance they indirectly made somebody else's world just a little bit more magical. I really, really hope that somebody out there overheard that conversation and thought I had never heard of the biblical Jesus. Because we never addressed the fact that this character called Jesus was presumably not that Jesus. It occurred to me later that day, that conversation must have sounded absolutely wild to somebody who didn't know The Walking Dead at all. My mom is the only person I knew to have stayed current with the show so I happen to ask her if he was from the show. So this makes me assume everybody but me knows who Jesus is. New Frontier had a stat for who did and didn't trust the character Jesus when they first met him and it was the most overwhelmingly one-sided stat I ever saw. I only watched a couple seasons of the show and never read the comics, so the TellTale games are pretty much my only exposure. I never much cared about those stats except one case in Walking Dead New Frontier. And I love it! I highly recommend playing the older Telltale games, even if you've played them before. I can replay them without feeling anxious about my choices. No choices posted for you to feel bad about. But the servers tracking the older games never came back. Telltale Games servers went down when the company went out of business.
I had to stop playing them because I couldn't stop second guessing myself.įast forward to today. All off a sudden I was second guessing myself after seeing the other options and how many people had done them. And then you'd see what percentage of players picked what choice at critical story times. I'd tried to play both Minecraft Story Mode and Tales from the Borderlands a long while back, but I got extremely stressed out by the choice display at the end of chapters.īasically at the end of every chapter the game would contact Telltale's servers and report your choices.
